Nelson Mandela Precinct
Summary
Most buildings in Harare CBD have not been vacant for a very long time, this is due to high rentals and congestion within the CBD forcing most businesses to migrate outside the Central Business District. This has left the infrastructure in the CBD deteriorating as there is no occupancy. The Nelson Mandela Precinct is a project that comes as a solution to the urban problem in Harare CBD. The structure combines three buildings along Nelson Mandela Avenue Nicoz House, Wetherby Building and Old Shell Building it has many hospitality facilities such as food outlets, retail shops, conference facilities, offices and short stay apartments.
